Le Tour de Burrito 2020 is GRAND

This year they are going BIG! The University of Bristol Cycling Club’s annual Tour de Burrito event, which first began in 2014, is bigger than ever before – we like to call it Le GRAND Tour de Burrito!

The team will embark on an epic journey, starting with a burrito for breakfast at Mission Burrito Reading on Sunday 22nd March, covering 140 miles to their final destination – Mission Burrito Bristol – with stops along the way in Oxford and Bath. Totally fuelled by burritos (of course!) and a celebratory beer at the end!

For the cyclists who cannot quite manage four burritos (LOL) there is a shorter route (100 miles) that misses out the city of the dreaming spires!

Not just for burritos and fun! The club are raising money for a very worthy local charity – FoodCycle Bristol – who provide meals for people at risk of food poverty and social isolation using surplus food from shops and restaurants.

Cheer them on along the way… they won’t be hard to spot if they look like this!

Good luck!
